Are you ready for the tournament mash up of the year? Roundnet Ontario is teaming up with the Quebec circuit to create the first ever Capital Cup Tournament! With points earned at the tournament counting for both the Roundnet Ontario Circuit and the Quebec circuit, you can’t miss this event! There is so much hidden roundnet talent in the country and this tournament will help connect players from all around for a summer of fun, laughs and friendly competition! You don’t want to miss this!

Êtes-vous prêt pour le tournoi de Spikeball de l’année? Les circuits Ontarien et Québécois se fusionneront pour établir le tout premier tournoi officiel dans la capitale national! Cet événement est à ne pas manquer car les points acquis au tournoi seront ajoutés à votre total pour chacun des deux circuits. Le sport prend de l’ampleur au Canada et il y a beaucoup de talent. De nouveaux duels entre des joueurs de partout seront créés au tournoi d’Ottawa ! Ne ratez pas votre chance!

Points System ONTARIO:
Tour Stop 3 – Capital Cup Tournament
- 1st place – 200 points
- 2nd place – 150 points
- 3rd place – 100 points
- 4th place – 75 points
- Quarterfinals – 50 points
- Rd. of 16 – 25 points
- Rd. of 32 – 15 points
Bonus points
- Attend the tournament – 5 points (20 points for Grand Slam)
- If 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th tournament attended – extra 10 points
- Attend all 5 tournaments – extra 50 points
- Early registration – 10 points
- Volunteer to be an Observer – 5 points per game

General Rules/Réglements General:
Competition will be governed by Official SRA Rules. After morning check-in, pool play will determine tournament seeds (6-8 teams per pool) . Pool Play will be one game played to 15, hard cap 21. Tournament play will be best of 3 to 15, win by 2 up to semi-finals. Semi-finals will be played best of 3 to 21, win by 2. If eliminated from first round of the tournament then a consolation bracket will be made. After being eliminated friendly matches are encouraged!

Les jeux seront gouvernés par les règlements établis par SRA. Le Pool play du matin déterminera le tableau du tournoi à double élimination (6 à 8 équipes/pool). Chaque pool aura es choisies aléatoirement et des parties de 15 points (limite de 21) seront disputées. Pour le tournoi de l’après-midi, les vainqueurs des parties seront les meilleurs de 3 sets de 15 points (différentiel de 2 points). À partir des demi-finales, les sets auront 21 points (différentiel de 2 points). Après avoir été éliminé, les matchs amicaux sont encouragés!
Capital Cup Tournament Description
This Spikeball tournament is the third of the 2018 Roundnet Ontario Circuit and the fifth of the Quebec Circuit. The event will be held at the Ottawa Gee-Gee’s Minto Complex Matt Anthony field, right on campus! There will be both a competitive and recreational division, as well as a women’s division (conditional to participant numbers). Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division, and individual points will be kept throughout the entire circuits to crown the overall ROTC and Quebec circuit champions at the end of the season.

Ce tournoi est le troisième du circuit Roundnet Ontario et le cinquième du circuit québécois. L’événement aura lieu sur le terrain Matt Anthony du complexe Minto des Gee-Gees d’Ottawa, sur le campus de l’université! Il y aura trois catégories : compétitive, récréative et la féminine (sujette à un changement selon le nombre d’inscriptions). Des prix seront remis aux 3 meilleures équipes dans chaque catégorie et les points accumulés seront ajoutés au total de chaque circuit.

- The University of Ottawa has given us parking passes for the day. Once you arrive, head straight to the Mann parking garage (see picture). A volunteer will welcome you with a parking pass (yellow display card).
